How to use Dash & Carista to Find Vehicle

Note: There is a small section where the mic got turned off. Got it turned back and I repeated the explanation.

Items required to for this to work -

1. Carista ODBC Adapter a. https://caristaapp.com/adapter

2. IFTTT Account a. Use this IFTTT app b. https://ifttt.com/applets/89505239d-track-your-car-trips-in-a-google-spreadsheet

3. Google Account

4. Dash app for your Smartphone

5. Open IFTTT app on smartphone

6. Enter "Dash Parked Trip" in search field

7. Scroll down until you find the app labeled "Remind me where I parked when I completed a trip". You should see the Dash icon in the upper left hand corner of the Applet and work with Google mail icon in the lower right hand corner of the same Applet.

8. Tap on the Applet

9. Tap on Turn On

10. If IFTTT isnt already linked to your Gmail account, you will walk through that process now

11. Tap on OK

12. Tap on the Google Account to use

13. Tap on Allow

14. Enter email address to send the messages to

15. Tap on Save

Use a GPS app on the phone that gives you the latitude and longitude in order find your vehicle
