How to setup Samsung Button, Hubitat & IKEA Outlet

These instructions assume that you already have the IKEA outlet paired with Hubitat

1. Bring up Hubitat console
2. Click on Devices
3. Click on Zigbee and Z-Wave Devices button
4. Pull tab from Samsun button
5. Light should start blinking on button when Hubitat finds it
6. It will solid when the initialization process is complete
7. Change name of button to what you need it to be
8. Click on Save
9. Click on Apps
10. Click on Add Built-In App
11. Click on Button Controllers app
12. Click on Done
13. Click on Button Controllers
14. Click on Create New Button Controller
15. Enter name for button controller
16. Click on Select Button Device
17. Click on Samsung button
18. Click on Click on Refresh
19. Click on Update
20. Select Held or double tapped options if needed
21. Click on Select Button Field
22. Type 1
23. Press tab key
24. Click on Select Actions when Samsung Button button 1 held
25. Click on Control switches, buttons, capture/restore button
26. Click on Toggle these switches
27. Check box beside the IKEA outlet to control with button
28. Click on Push a button
29. Click on Samsung button
30. Click on Update
31. Click in Button number field
32. Type 1
33. Click on Done
34. Click on Done
35. Click on Done
36. Click on Logs to watch what Samsung button and selected bulb are or are not doing

How to Reset the SmartThings Button

1. Using a paper clip or a small tool, hold down the recessed Connect button on the bottom of the Button for 5 seconds. Release the button when the LED light on the front starts blinking red.
2. Once the Button has been reset, the LED will begin to blink green and red, indicating that the Button is attempting to connect.
3. Use the SmartThings app and steps detailed above to reconnect your Button.
