How to do initial setup of Caavo 4K HD

- Unpack Caavo and verify that you have everything you should have
- Unpack remote and start charging it (you will thank yourself later for this)
- Place Caavo base (minus lid) where you want it to be
- Connect to your network
- Connect HDMI cable from Out port to a HDMI port on the TV
- Connect power to Caavo
- Turn on TV and select the HDMI port the Caavo is attached to
- Follow the on screen instructions to pair the Caavo remote to the Caavo base unit
- You will a screen that says the remote is paired
- The next screen will have you adjust the resolution of the Caavo to match the TV a. Hint: use the up/own arrow as shown on the screen around the OK button and not the up and down arrows on the remote
- Once you can see all the arrows, Press the OK button to continue
- Caavo will now check for updates, download and apply them a. This process can take about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection b. Once the Updates have been applied, you will be asked to position the arrows on the screen to where you can see them
- Select whether the AV devices are in a closed or open cabinet
- Press OK to continue
- Caavo will next check for the version of TV that you have
- Click on Yes if it has discovered the right manufacturer
- Select where the sound needs to go (TV or AV receiver) and click on OK to continue
- At this point, I connected just the ROKU streaming receiver
- Click on Ok to continue
- Once it has discovered the devices, Click on ok to test control of the devices
- To test the remote funtionality, read the instructions on the screen and press the mike button to continue
- The next screen walks you through testing the volume function on the TV
- If the remote works, press the mike button
- You will be walked through a series of screen testing the Caavo's ability to control your TV
- You will next walk through a test to check for access to your streaming Device (in my case Roku for this first part)
- Once you have completed that test, enter the zip code to set your time zone
- You will now create your Caavo acount
- Use the information on the TV screen to complete the process
- Select the apps from the webpage that you are using on your media streaming device
- Click on Next
- You will now walk through each of the selected services to enter your login credentials
- Once your streaming media receiver has been setup, you will be given the option to link your Amazon Ech device (if you have one)
- The instructions will appear on screen for linking alexa to Caavo
- I had to use the alexa.amazon.com portal to enable the skill but was able to use voice control to give it the required pin
