How to deal with Power Outage for SmartHome Part 4

Here are the steps to get a 2 panel system up and running in a matter of minutes

1. Cut off both ends of SIMB 14/3 extension cable
2. Strip insulation back from 1/4" on each wire
3. Connect black wire to negative terminal on MPPT Controller
4. Connect white wire to positive terminal on MPPT Controller
5. Connect black wire at other end of cable to negative terminal on battery
6. Connect white wire at other end of cable to positive terminal on battery
7. Program MPPT controller for the battery you are storing power in
8. Connect black Super Cloud cable to MPPT controller
9. Connect red Super Cloud cable to MPPT controller
10. Interconnect both Richsolar panels
11. Connect Black cable to Richsolar panel
12. Connect Red cable to Richsolar panel
13. Position solar panel to be illuminated by the sun
14. Verify that MPPT controller has power from storage battery
15. Verify that MPPT controller sees solar panels connected
16. Connect ethernet cable to front panel port on MPPT controller
17. Connect other end of ethernet cable to MT50 display meter

Level 3 Better for handling of outages of a day or more PC on Mains, UPS for outages of approx 30 minutes, Inverter for an outage lasting more than the time supported by the UPS, manual move of Solar Panels and Solar Controller
