This is the updated version of the automatic parking lot. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/L1KGLyXqsQo The max capacity of the lot is 7 cars. It shows a message on the LCD screen when the max capacity is reached and the barrier no longer opens until some cars exit. All of the computing work is done by an Arduino UNO as mentioned in the video. The components and parts used for this project are: An Arduino UNO microcontroller board A 16x2 LCD display A micro servo 2 IR proximity sensors(to detect the cars going in and coming out) 2 10k ohm resistors( as pull-down resistors for sensor's digital output) A 10k ohm potentiometer(accurately, a preset to change the LCD display's contrast) Some wires A DC power supply(5-12 volts) ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m2TVnvrcHQ
