In this video, I explained what is SWIFT Code and how to get your Bank's SWIFT & IFSC code. This video is mainly focused on SWIFT code because IFSC is easy to get but I also explained how to get it in Video. Swift Code is a 11 letter code that is used for international exchange of money through wire. First 3 letters represent Bank Code, nest 2 letters represent Country Code, next 2 letters represent Location Code and last 3 letters represent Branch Code. Although you should enter all 11 letters where asked but as per rules only first 8 letters are mandatory and last 3 letters are optional. I mentioned 3 different website in the video where you can find your SWIFT & IFSC code. Easiest one is finders.sulekha.com. All you have to do is enter your State, Bank, City & Branch name. If you can't find your city or branch in the options you can enter your nearest city of branch. If you are not sure just select your states' capital in city menu. There is no problem. You will get your SWIFT code. And for IFSC code, almost all branches have their own. I showed in the video how to get it. You can also find it on your Passbook.
