Lathe Solid Toolpost Block

A while back I saw Robin Renzettis video where he showed his lathe and how he replaced the compound slide with a solid block for added stability and rigidity. I thought that was an interesting idea so I made a similar block for my much smaller lathe. The index pin I make in this video is the first part I have done after making the block.
