"The Pyramids of Mars" is a four-part serial from the classic British sci-fi television series "Doctor Who," originally aired in 1975. Sutekh, also known as the Destroyer, is a member of a powerful alien race called the Osirans. Using his mental powers, he manipulates an archaeologist named Marcus Scarman to build robotic mummies and a time-space portal in the manor's Egyptian-themed priory. Sutekh's goal is to break free from his imprisonment and bring destruction to the universe.

The Doctor and Sarah work to stop Sutekh by thwarting his plans and deactivating his servitors. They eventually confront Sutekh in his prison on Mars. The Doctor ingeniously exploits the time differential between Earth and Mars to keep Sutekh trapped for eternity, preventing his catastrophic reign.
