Newton’s Method In Excel

Newton’s Method in Microsoft Excel is a quick way to solve non-linear equations through numerical methods. Solving a non-linear equation means to find the roots. Newton’s Method relies on defining a single initial x-value and then finding where the tangent hits the x-axis. Through Microsoft Excel newton’s method can easily be automated to quickly solve for unknown roots of a non-linear equation.
