Let’s find the lewis structure of CH4. In this example video we will walk through the steps to finding the lewis structure of methane (CH4). We begin by finding how many valence electrons CH4 has, then we select our central atom, which is going to be Carbon. Then we connect and our atoms through covalent bonds and validate that our lewis structure of CH4 is complete.
