Performing Kyma Sound Effects with the Sensel Morph and MIDI MPE #shorts

A #shorts version of a Kyma Multigrid sound effects performance featuring only a close-up of my fingers and the Sensel Morph.

Among the many things Kyma excels at is algorithmic sound generation. Here I built a Kyma Sound in the Multigrid which takes individual folders of samples, indeterminately grabs a sample when the Sensel Morph is touched, then does arithmetic on that particular sample, and makes it expressive based on my performance using the Sensel Morph. This can happen up to 10 times simultaneously (for each of my fingers) on each track in the Multigrid which uses its own bank of samples. The possibilities are astronomical while still being focussed enough to be useful, and that's before my nuanced performance on the Sensel Morph, which brings Pitch Bend and Channel Pressure for each voice into play. Oh, and all of this is happening live, in real-time.
