Things the scale tells you:
āļøThe weight of the total mass of your bones, muscles, fat stores, contents of your digestive system and bladderā¦
Things that truly make you happy:
š Feeling confident in your favourite dress
ā½ļø Being able to run around and play with your kids
šø Not wanting to hide away in family photos
š« Having the energy to get up without pressing snooze
š Feeling unstoppable
š Being able to stop diabetes or pain meds
š Having better stress management skills
None of these things can be measured on a scale.
So while setting a physical weight goal is a good way to objectively measure if your fat stores are getting smaller⦠donāt forget to measure and celebrate progress in the things which REALLY matter too š
