Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to split screens in Windows 10 with shortcut keys. This is going to be a short one.
To start, make sure that you have an active window open. I’m going to move my Chrome browser to the left side of my screen. To do this, I use the keyboard combination Windows + left arrow.
Once I release the keys, Windows automatically shows a miniature version of all your other active windows on the other half of your screen. You can select this window with your keyboard as well. Use the arrow keys to navigate between the different windows.
The keyboard shortcut for the right side is almost the same, you use Windows + right arrow instead of Windows + left arrow.
To switch between the different windows, you can use the combination alt + tab. This way, I’ll select my active window on the left side. Same as before, by using Windows + up arrow I’m going to split the left screen as well.
This concludes our very short tutorial on how to split screens with keyboard combinations in Windows 10. I'm inspired by creators as TechGumbo and Tech Insider.
