Multiple cells Same data: The ctrl + enter combination lets you fill in an entire range at once with the same data or formula. Hit ctrl + enter and all cells are filled in at once (Mac: ctrl + enter).
Select column difference: The next Excel keyboard command can be useful to track different formulas in a column. So first you select the range and then you use ctrl + shift + \ to select all the cells with differences (Mac: ctrl + shift + ). With ctrl + \ you can search for differences in rows (Mac: ctrl + ).
Grouping rows or columns: The next keyboard command is one to group or ungroup columns or rows. First, we select them all, and then we hit the keyboard combination shift + alt + → (Mac: Command + shift + K). Ungrouping rows or columns is done with the combination shift + alt + ←.
Pivot table quick filter: This Excel shortcut is a big help when you often use pivot tables. With the ctrl + - combination you add values to the filter (Mac: ctrl + -). It's also possible to do this with multiple items.
Navigation shortcuts: The Ctrl + ← ↑→↓moves you from the selected cell to the edge of the range (Mac: Command + ← ↑→↓). With Ctrl + shift + ← ↑→↓you can quickly select entire ranges. The combination ctrl + backspace (Mac: command + delete) takes you back to the selected cell.
ctrl + . moves you clockwise from corner to corner in a selected range (Mac: ctrl + .). This way you can quickly navigate around in big data ranges.
Selecting visible cells: For the next shortcut, we have "selecting visible cells". Selecting cells with hidden cells in between, copies the hidden data as well. With the keyboard combination alt + ; you select the visible cells only (Mac: command + shift + Z).
Inserting line breaks: Alt + enter lets you add a line break after your cursor position (Mac: ctrl + option).
Moving between sheets: To make this a bit more convenient you can use the keyboard shortcuts ctrl + Pg Up and ctrl + Pg Dn. Ctrl + Pg Up moves you to the tab on the left while ctrl + Pg Dn moves you to the tab on the right. (Mac: option + right arrow and option + left arrow)
