Queen is a 12-year-old Pure Super Dwarf Reticulated Python. She was born from some of the first ones ever imported into Canada. After 2-3 years she went Calico. It's a strange change where the snake has a thicker shed and looses most of their colour. Some people have found their lines to be genetic or to affect the babies visually as in NERD's "Moo" line. other people think it is just like a paradox and cannot be reproduced. Most Calicos are wild-caught. I don't know of any other Super Dwarf Calicos accept queen so she is definitely one of a kind. Will be attempting to breed her this year so hopefully will be able to figure some things out!
