Regardless of the score, regardless of the situation, regardless of your struggles, Pitch with Pride. A 9 inning baseball game has 27 outs which have to be recorded. When you are handed the ball, go make great things happen!!!! Those outs have to be made. The pitcher who excels at this vital and overlooked part of the craft, earns a significant amount of trust and playing time.

Whether it is 10-0 or 0-0, the approach does not change. You stand on the mound knowing that you are the best man for the job and no hitter is better than you. This mindset is validated by making all your pitches with full conviction.

No situation is too big and you are never above any situation where you would be called upon to perform.

Every opportunity you have to pitch is a possibility to improve your skills, learn more about yourself, and turn some heads around this great game! You never know who is watching…

Very simply, the more experience you acquire, the more comfortable you will become. All successful teams have a pinnacle moment of their season. One which can make or break the end result of the year. Sometimes there is the obvious choice who gets the ball. Other times may put the manager through the ringer in his decision making process. Nonetheless, Only 1 pitcher on the staff can be in the middle of it. That position is earned through merit.
When you find yourself there, embrace it
