GPU Mining card not detected "Code 12 and 43"

I wanted to share with others a common error one might see when setting up their mining system. Common errors "Code 12" and "Code 43", that can cause a mining system to not mine at its full potential. See below for insight on how to resolve

Code 12 "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use... (Code 12) “

Full Error Message

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

Workaround for "Code 12"

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. To work around this issue, follow these steps: Click the Start button , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in the Programs list

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

Locate the following registry subkey, and then click it: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PnP\Pci

If the HackFlags registry entry is not present, follow these steps:

On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Type HackFlags, and then press ENTER.

On the Edit menu, click Modify.

In the Value data box, type 400, click Hexadecimal in the Base area, and then click OK. Exit Registry Editor.

If the HackFlags registry entry is present, follow these steps: Right-click HackFlags, and then click Modify.

In the Value data box, type 400, click Hexadecimal in the Base area, and then click OK. Exit Registry Editor.
