Will A Website's Existing Schema Help Keep Rankings While Changes Are Made To Its Content And Images
Semantic Mastery
In episode 270 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3salRw-IsE), one viewer asked if a website's existing schema can help keep rankings while changes are made to its content and images.
The exact question was:
hi guys i have a client who is ranked on page 1 for a few keywords but his bounce rate is high so now he wants to change the layout and content up on these pages as he says rankings dont matter if everyone just bounces. will trying to optimize the site for conversions by changing the images and unstructured data confuse google and hurt our rankings? or will the schema we have on site be enough to keep our rankings relatively stable? thanks!
