We worked the kinks out of our live stream and are prepared to do this the right way. join us as we go through the steps on how we created the ghost affect in our scene lost souls.

While working on a film, I was presented with the challenge of creating an interesting ghost effect. Not scary and startling but something that would draw your attention. I took the opportunity to film something with the talented Debi Johnston. Then get to work on my craft. This is the scene.

A woman dies young, Her husband moves on with his life but she cant let go. She goes to the window each night in anguish and pain waiting for his return. This is really a love story. It could be developed into a Romance film. This was shot and then edited with After Effects. it is a true sad tale. After effects Tutorials will follow showing how we made this shot.

Second hand productions is an independent film production company that prides itself on visual effects and telling the story. Too often people think you have to spend years in school or work for a major studio or visual effects studio to create incredible set extensions. Not the case at all. Follow along as I show you how I created this scenic background for a simple shot and give the audience a rich experience.
