Editing trick everyone should use

I'm a filmmaker and editor, I do a lot of visual effects and I watch a lot of other filmmakers work. i'm going to share with you the simplest technique that a lot of indie filmmakers don't use and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I don't care if you use Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas, Final Cut, Filmora, Dvinci Resolve or a host of other products taht are on the market. If you do not use this basic approach to editing dialogue your film will SUCK. Nothing personal but any editor will agree with me on this.
