An experiment in the techniques to create a very thin dish similar to the many found in Saqqara. Of the 40,000 discovered most of alabaster although the impression is given there were 40,000 granite, basalt or diorite vases. I made this in the time of a working day. I made many mistakes and next time I will be much more effecient. With the experience and better prepared tools it would be easy to make two a day. As part of a workshop environment of experienced individuals the productivity would be much higher. The 40,000 stone vessels found at the Stepped Pyramid are one of the foundation stones of the Lost Ancient High Technologists. However the experiments by Olga Vdovina have already shown the more complicated vases are possible, that's without using copper. Only bone, stone and wood tools.
