Tornado Siren Test - Finally!

Wow! Some of us in the valley thought this tornado siren was broken and forgotten, looks like Casey County Emergency Services and Kentucky State government are finally realizing these horns are needed!!

Considering we are moving into tornado season and well , lets face it, our world is sitting on a powder keg just waiting for the fuse to be lit, services like these sirens and Emergency Alert Systems are once again as important to our safety as they were during the Cold War.

My hats off to the powers that be, now if they can put our county dispatch back in the county and out of digital comms, we might stand a chance.
