After more rain and thunderstorms, I decided to check on the garden hoping to find something to pick or to at least look forward to picking in a week or so.

I wasn't disappointed, it looks as if all that work is finally about to pay off. And a much appreciated surprise or 3 has blessed my garden as well, I had placed a Preying Mantis in my lower garden 2 weeks ago that was roaming inside one of the kitchen windows. I moved it to the garden and was happy to see at least 3 Mantis gracing the leaves of the beans.
