Creating a Disinformation Plan/OPSEC to Protect Your Security and Privacy

This video is about managing DISINFORMATION for your benefit. Are you a YouTube creator? Are you big in Social media? This video will alert you to the complexities of trying to protect your personal information. It will give you something to think about.

Avoiding being profiled and tracked on the Internet is a complex task and is more than the sum of its parts. You have to model your threats and see how you want to address it.

Simple solutions like VPN's are not sufficient to really do the right job if used without a threat model. Understanding your behaviors and choices and the type of data collected, you can come up with an OPSEC plan to protect yourself on the Internet and this involve knowing how to use disinformation properly. This video explains the relationships between your behaviors and why sometimes you are not helping yourself even if you take steps to ensure your privacy.

Someone just asked me, in relation to this video, about what a person with a public face would have to do, like a lawyer, CPA, minister, accountant, etc. The answer is simple. Mold the public known Internet identity the way you want. No political beliefs. No comments on current events. Stable and non-controversial.

Then create your true pseudo anonymous identity (taking the details explained in this video) and act more normally and free. Without a care about what your comments are on social media.

But the two identities must NEVER meet! This is top tip. But needs some serious brain power!

And to the idiot that made a comment that I removed, yes OPSEC is a military used term which meant to SHUT YOUR ZUCKING MOUTH during a war. Loose Lips Sink Ships! That's the military use of the word OPSEC.
