Is Calming Down The Nervous System Enough To Heal? Long COVID - ME/CFS - Lyme - Fibromyalgia
Daniel van Loosbroek
Surely, if calming down the nervous system is all you need to do, then why don't you heal? Why is everyone else still struggling? In this video, I would like to go deeper into the question of whether calming down the nervous system is enough to heal from a chronic disease such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, COVID, lyme, etc.
In the beginning phases, when you are very stressed, it seems logical that you need to calm down. But what if you hit a plateau? What happens when there are ups and downs beyond your control? Does the commen approach still work? Many people experience a better state of being after they have calmed down their nervous system. But does the trick of guiding yourself to the parasympathetic mode heal you completely?
