Sir High Brow

Shot on super 8 in 2012. Sir Hi Brow is another classic example of a film shot with only a basic concept, which would require additional love in post production. What the film lacked was proper character development, and so I added a narrator in the beginning, which set the stage for the EPIC ADVENTURE!

This might be considered as a grind house film, if we consider the exploitation factor that typifies the knight in shining armor, poor print quality, intentional noise, super cheesy-ness and exaggerated acting -- the campy narration really helps in that regard. But there is no gore at all, and the violence and sleaze are rather minimal. Also, I am not sure the medieval theme fits well in the grind house world...it seems more Monty Python in that regard.

BUT THAT IS OK, as I am attempting to formulate a new genre that I call "Grind House General." That is, grind house for the general audience...even kids as young as ten could watch films of this nature and get the best of the grind house silliness but without the gratuitous components.
