This is an example of how cheap readily available technology can be used to control and monitor complex industrial systems.

The Raspberry Pi is used to monitor, in real time, the progression and stages of production of electric cable.

This can be used to analyse production data and improve processes. It can also be used by customers to track when their order will be completed.

Similar applications can be easily developed for all types of industrial sector.

The use of low cost tech in High Tech environments is not only possible but practical.
