Privacy/OSINT: Spoof GPS Tags/Metadata To Anonymize Your Pictures (Windows/Linux/Mac) Exiftool

Sometimes injecting new data can be more effective than data concealment. Here we embrace data collection, taking full advantage of it- What is Metadata and how we can change/add tags making data collection our privacy advantage. Here we will be using Exiftool a program for Windows, Linux, and Apple operating systems.

Platforms scrape our pictures/docs for categorization after uploading and this can help cross identify users across platforms. Each document/pic/video carries unique hidden tags that carry everything from camera resolution to GPS/serial numbers.

We will be using Exiftool to take full advantage of data collection and use it in our favor here. Privacy isn't all about concealment of data. Sometimes adding new data can be even more effective means.
