LOGIN ALERTS

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - Get Alerts about Unrecognized Logins
• This will instantly notify you if someone or you logs in your FB account on new app or device

FACE RECOGNITION

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - Control Face Recognition
• When this is on, FB will notify you about images that looks like you but does not tag you.
• This will also recognize your friends in a photo and recommend that you tag them.
• If you think someone is impersonating you, this will help FB to notify you.
• Only available on users 18yo and above

TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - Use Two Factor Authentication
• Turn on for your smartphone number and Google Authenticator app
• This will give you extra security for your FB account.
• You will need your password plus the SMS code sent to your SIM number
• If you lose your SIM number and your email access, I won't be able to help you.
• Just give up.

OFF-FACEBOOK ACTIVITY

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - VIEW or CLEAR your Off-Facebook Activity

AD PREFERENCES

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - Review Your Ad Preferences
• Be able to hide Ads
• This will not hide all ads on FB but it will minimize the number of it.
• It will also help you avoid ads from advertisers that you don't like.

DOWNLOAD YOUR INFORMATION

• FB - Hamburger Menu - Settings & Privacy - Privacy Shortcuts - ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION - DOWNLOAD YOUR INFORMATION
• Here you will see your recent activities
• You may also download all your Facebook information from posts, pictures, and videos. All of them.
• This is useful for backup purposes
• Also useful for when you want to delete your current FB account and migrate all your files to a new FB account.
