Have you encountered the NetBeans MySQL Time Zone Connection Error? If so this video shows you How to Fix NetBeans MySQL Time Zone Connection Error. This fix is for both MySQL and MariaDB.
The NetBeans error: "Unable to connect. Cannot establish a connection to jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/mysql?zeroDateTimeBehavior=CONVERT_TO_NULL using com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver (The server time zone value 'CEST' is unrecognized or represents more than one time zone. You must configure either the server or JDBC driver (via the serverTimezone configuration property) to use a more specifc time zone value if you want to utilize time zone support.)."
