WHATSAPP ISSUE SOLVED: "COULDN'T UPLOAD THIS PHOTO. PLEASE TRY LATER"

So the other day i needed to mess about with the settings on my phone to get an app to work properly and i had to reset the app default preference. After doing I realised my WhatsApp was a bit broken. The contacts were showing as numbers and not by their names. I tried lots of suggestions from searching online and after doing them all (even uninstalling WhatsApp and reinstalling) ....i changed the permissions and the names came back.

But then I noticed my profile picture had gone and no matter what i tried i couldn't get it to choose an image from me phones gallery. Off I went again into Google, read all the solutions and watched all the video tutorials:

• Reset app preferences
• Grant all permissions
• Clear apps data and Memory
• Reset network settings
• Uninstall & Reinstall
• Check for updates
• Clear cache on Google Playstore app

.... NONE OF THEM WORKED🤦🏻‍♂️🤬

After a while a thought came to me...."I wonder if you can choose images from within the chats and set them as a profile picture?....."
