Important Updates to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP)

YouTube strikes yet another heavy blow against budding creators with their latest policy change. The aim is to remove monetization from all YouTube users who don't have at least 4,000 watch time hours and 1,000 subs in the last year. Users will have 30 days to comply with the new requirements or risk losing the ability to generate revenue with their content through ads. YouTube, however, still reserves the right to show ads on the creators' videos and make money from them.
