ArmA 3 Alpha Performance tweak Hyper-threading
Stephen Morrish
One of the pieces of advice that used to be bandied about in the performance threads about ArmA 2 on the forums was the perceived benefits of turning off hyper-threading. The idea behind this was a Intel i7's four physical core's with hyper-threading making 8 would be at a disadvantage. Because the game can not see more than four core's. So to get the best possible performance four strong cores were better than 8 half cores. Well that was the idea, I give it a go, loading up the most CPU incentive mission I have. With my i7 3930K I can see no advantage of turning hyper-threading off.
