Geocaching À Beira Da Ribeira - Isna De Oleiros

ENG: The toponym of this parish Isna has some curiosity, since it can derive from isanu "place of difficult access", issanare "healthy place" or igeana "border of the territory Egitanense".
Parish from the year 1793 is located in the south of Oleiros, with an area of 27.9 km2, maintaining its own characteristics, perhaps due to its isolation, quite accentuated by the Serra da Cabeço da Rainha, where the highest point of the county.
Isna is an ancient population cluster, located in fertile lands and with abundant aquifer, having developed from Ribeira da Isna by the slope of gentle slopes.
Land of a strong hunting tradition, by these stops king D. Carlos walked on hunts, attracted by the abundance of deer and wild boars. In the village there is a street with its name, attesting this fact and a fountain designed by him, the "Source of Women", long claimed by the female population.
