Let's take a look at CB2: The self-proclaimed "cheapest and easiest to build opensource microcomputer in the world". Does it live up to expectations?

We start by unboxing it, looking at all the components, and the information on the web site. It really is quite a good kit for beginners, and it only takes about half an hour to build. Following along with this video should make assembling it even easier.

Then we look at what exactly is this microcomputer. The heart of is is an ATMega microcontroller which some impressive specs. It's loaded with TinyBASIC and several example programs. We take through its paces while we learn about it and try to find the limits of what we can do with a BASIC program.

Finally we try to connected it to a modern PC, and look at some of the hardware projects available for this system.
