How To Get Better Cellphone Signal: 5 Tips for Better Reception
Today I teach you all of the tips that I know that helps in increasing your cellphone signal or reception, I have 5 tips for you today and I hope that you find some of them useful, let me know if you do by rating this video with a thumbs up!
So my first tip for you guys is to use Wi-Fi calling, all four major cellphone providers in the US are offering this feature now but not all phone models have this feature (most do), and it's very simple to use and doesn't result in any extra charges on your bill, it's completely free. Essentially what this feature does is use your wifi signal to make phone calls and send texts instead of using the cell towers. So I'm going to show you how to turn that on..
For iPhone you simply go into settings , then phone, and click wifi calling, and simply toggle it on it might ask you to supply a physical address and this is for emergency services to know your location when you call 911 via Wi-Fi calling.
On android it's just as simple, go to your settings, click more settings, and click wifi calling, this might be different for you considering there are so many different variations of android, but you get the general idea. Once wifi calling is on, whenever you are connected to wifi and your cell service is not strong it will automatically connect via wifi and still allow you to make a regular call or text using your exact same phone number
My second tip for you, if your phone does not support wifi calling or you're carrier doesn’t support this is to call your carrier and request for them to send out what is called a "Microcell" usually they will ship this out to you free of charge and what this device does it hook up to your home internet and then broadcast a cell phone signal inside your home to allow all phones on that particular carrier to make calls in the towers general area. The disadvantage to these are that they only work for 1 carrier, and also slow down your internet connection when it is active.
Number 3, If you are willing and able to make this investment for your home then I definitely would recommend to buy a cell phone booster, they sell these on amazon, and they have a bit of a price tag, but consider it an investment for your home
because these are awesome to have, they work for all carriers and do not require internet to function. The only requirements is to have an area in or around your home that has at least one bar of service and the special antenna will pick up that little bit of service, send it through to be amplified, and then broadcast the new more efficient signal through the transmitter that you will have inside your home. There are different models of these that cover various sq footage
My 4th tip, is to try this si ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQCon9clG1U
