In this video I talk about tolerance and resets when it comes to comes to microdosing psychedlicics in this case psilocybin containing enhancement magic mushrooms.
These mushrooms have neuroenhancers and used for neuroenhacement as well as to increase mood and focus. But you should not be consuming them ever day.
Some people say you can not micro dose even 2 or 3 days in a row... I am pretty sure they are talking about taking a macro dose of psilocybin mushrooms. Then YES, defiantly take a big break into between if you are consuming 1 - 6 grams. This is not a micro-dose.
A microdose is around 100 mg or 1/10 of a gram of psilocybe cubensis mushrooms.
Again the research isn't 100% out yet so this is my personal opinion with all the research I have looked into and microdosing experiment I have done.
John Hopkins University research can be a bit misleading to some people because they were given their patients the pure chemical Psilocin (also known as 4-HO-DMT, 4-hydroxy DMT, psilocine, psilocyn, or psilotsin) of 30 mg. This is equivalent of taking a few grams of dried psilocbyin magic mushrooms. They are NOT using the dried psilocybin mushroom. This is NOT a micro dose. This is considered a MACRO dose.
We do build a tolerance when it comes to consuming magic mushrooms. We build the tolerance very quickly but we also lose the tolerance very quickly if we are only taking a microdose. If you are doing Macro doses you would want to wait a month or so in between.

It is crucial that you take breaks to avoid serotonin burn out syndrome. The psilocbyin mimics serotonin and plays right on the serotonin receptor sites and if you do not give your self the opportunity to clear out these receptor sites and clear out the psilocybin they are not going to receive the normal natural serotonin that your brain and body create.
