Astro Pixel Processor - Stacking shots from multiple sessions and multiple cameras
Naztronomy
This is a long video so feel free to skip to the end (18:57) to see the final demo and how my galaxies turned out!
I normally use Deep Sky Stacker to stack my astro pictures. But recently, I astro-modded my old Canon T2i to capture Hydrogen-alpha signal. My normal camera is a Canon T5i. Same family, different cameras. I thought stacking these would be a piece of cake but I was wrong!
These two cameras saved the images slightly differently and DSS (and Siril) didn't like it. So I tried to Astro Pixel Processor hoping I can stack the 6 hours of M82 that I took across two nights because I really didn't want to throw out half of my shots.
And APP was awesome! It stacked for me and stretched my pictures better than I expected. In this video, I do a quick demo of the process and show how user friendly the software is. You can get more info on the software at https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/
