There are many religions emerging from nowhere. What I am talking about here are the 'movements' which follow a certain pattern that makes them the same as any of the larger, more well known religions. This happens because religion is an unavoidable pattern in the world. We have these qualities that keep showing up, like highest value, a standard of purity and a definition of evil. Recognizing these patterns is easy and helps you to avoid those pitfalls as well as giving you a framework to deal with people who are stuck in these religions. This is important to understand because you can see these patterns all around you today. While I only give three examples, you'll easily notice there are many more.
