Narrative Capture - sense making

What is narrative capture, roughly, a type of enchantment which we need to know about. It is not bad, or good, but can be either, depending upon how you engage with it. When a narrative we are captured by goes wrong, we get angry and filled with resentment, because we have a bad model for the world. Narrative is unavoidable as a framework which we use to make sense of things and to outsource our cognition. It is important that we realize that we need narrative to free up our mind for other things as the world is too big for us to grasp it all at once.
