Explanation vs. Exploration - conversations and communications

Here I talk about the modes of conversation, where we sometimes have an exploratory attitude in our discussions, where maybe both parties no little about the topic vs a conversation where one person is telling someone something specific via explanation. Neither is worse than the other, elements of both are common in most communication, but noticing, paying attention to these two modes can help us have a clearer understanding of what is going on, why and help us to deal with it.
