Don't be fooled - Progress/Progressivism - Better Understanding

One thing we need to not be fooled by is the abuse of the word progress, it is used in different ways to manipulate people. In particular, the assumptions people make about what this 'means' is very sneaky and causes all sorts of manipulate through confusion. Do not be fooled by this trick! Is progress always good? How do we know when we are done? How fast should we 'progress'? These are important missing components we don't really give enough time to thinking about. Our highest value shouldn't be progress, but goodness or the good. Typically when people use the terms around progress, progressivism, etc. they are allowing you to project your own ideas and feelings into those terms, but then using that to get you to act against those very ideas. So they are able to move you to do things against your own interest, in contradictions with your own values and to violate your own principles without realizing it. This is super dangerous for our society, so here I'm trying to give you tools to recognize this problem and take actions to protect yourself.
