I have reduced the number of scripts from 23 to 2 and combined all the code into rip-ffplay.sh for playing and rip-ffmpeg.sh for recording

rip-ffmpeg.sh also accepts a duration for the recording, using the ffmpeg -t 00:00:00 option to specify hours minutes and seconds

record and ctrl to kill

rip-ffmpeg.sh video-url.txt

record and specify a duration, eg 3hrs

rip-ffmpeg.sh video-url.txt -t 03:00:00

Do a git pull to get the new scripts
