Why I made this video, Create Use Custom Prompt On a VPS Ubuntu Server to Distinguish Terminals. I created a video mentioning the use of a custom terminal prompt. Just this morning I was on two VPSs (Virtual Private Servers) at once. Plus I had a couple local terminals open. I entered a command on one that was meant for the other. I mixed my terminals up. So to prevent that from happening again I decided to use custom prompt on my servers to easily distinguish between various terminals glance.

Although this channel is called MyLinuxToyBox many topics will also appropriate for Windows users. If you want to learn about computers it would be well worth the subscription.
