Resistors in Series and Parallel Tutorial (Ohm’s Law, Voltage, Current, and Power Calculations)
Mt. Ford Studios
In this DC electrical circuit calculations tutorial, I walk you through how to use Ohm’s Law to calculate current, voltage, and power of a simple circuit and its components. The first circuit contains a single resistor. The second contains three resistors in series. The third contains two resistors in parallel, while the fourth one contains resistors in both series and parallel. I walk you though how to calculate the total circuit resistance, current and power, and how to calculate the individual component voltage drops, currents, and power dissipation.
