Shadowlands pre-patch event has gone live a few days ago, followed by the World of Warcraft 16th Anniversary that brings along many things, including Reputation and Experience bonuses. Although this seems like a quiet time for WoW players, it can be filled with many things to do (and still not finish!) before the new expansion arrives on November 23rd.
