How to build a Revell Jaguar E-Type in stopmotion by the LEGO guys
RAUL's Modeling In Motion
Hi fellow modelers, stopmotion animations and LEGO fans! I just finished my latest build, the Revell Jaguar E-Type. What a fun journey and what a gorgeous car! Regarding the video, this time I used quite a lot my LEGO minifigures to make it more engaging and also added sound to bring the LEGO minifigures to life. I hope the sound makes the video more interactive and more fun to watch! Regarding the build, it is my first Revell kit and I was amazed by its quality. I didn't have a single issue, all the parts fit properly. Even the assembly manual it is really clear and in color, compared to the line drawings ones from the Japanese manufacturers. I would say it is at least the same quality with a normal Tamiya kit. Definitely will try other kits from Revell to see if they keep the same quality consistent across their lineup. In what concerns the painting, I used Alclad for the metalic parts. For the interior I used Tamiya Lacquer Paints for the first time and I was impressed how good it was. The LP looks so real and the paint seems more resistant than the normal acrylic X paints to marks. With the X paints, my fingerprints were all over the parts, especially on the dark ones, but with LP I didn't have this issue. Regarding the car itself there is no need for introduction. It is an icon in the automotive world. There is even a rumor that when this car was launched Enzo Ferrari itself said that it is the most beautiful car in the world. Anyway, hope you enjoy the build and the video. I will start my next one, a race car this time, the first one of this type that I make: Tamiya Honda RA272. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfnXpHru1Kc
