Technology companies, government agencies, and scientists are warning us of "an impending #EMP", and to, "protect against, respond to, and recover from the effects of an EMP".

In March 2019, President Trump has signed an executive order that will put #ElectromagneticPulse (EMP) preparedness in the hands of the White House. The plan shall align with and build on actions identified in reports required by Executive Order 13800 of May 11, 2017 (Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure).

While Jameson Lopp says, "the amount of time it would take for an attacker with 100% of the Bitcoin network hashrate to rewrite the entire blockchain has reached an all-time high of over 400 days", the damage report from an EMP to the power grid, "could leave significant parts of the electric power grid out of service for months to a year or more”, ...Is this a "extreme case" scenario to "rewrite" almost the entire #Bitcoin Blockchain, or even a significant portion, or is this just a major concern that we should protect ourselves against?
