Maker Basics - How to salvage components

Making can be expensive, so salvaging parts can be a great way to save money. In today's video I show you the techniques I use to desolder and remove components from scrap circuit boards.

This is also a good way to resurrect parts that are no longer made. It also allows us to keep material out of the landfill, so it is an all around win.
