There is a POC (proof of concept) Printnightmare flaw in Windows that can allow remote code execution and all sorts of generally bad things to happen. This is through the print spooler service that runs in Windows even if you don't have a printer attached or installed.

Here is a way to disable the service and also enable it if you need to print something until the official Microsoft fix is created / distributed.

Use the taskbar or Windows start menu to search for Powershell. Right-click Powershell and select “Run as administrator.”

In the Powershell prompt, run the following command to disable the Windows Print Spooler.

Stop-Service -Name Spooler -Force (This stops the service)

Set-Service -Name Spooler -StartupType Disabled (This prevents Windows from re-enabling Print Spooler services at startup)

Keep your Windows Print Spooler services disabled until Microsoft’s patch is available and installed on your PC sometime in the near future.

Once it’s safely patched, you can re-enable automatic Print Spool services after reboot in Powershell using this line of code.

Set-Service -Name Spooler -StartupType Automatic

Start-Service -Name Spooler commands. (This starts the spooler service if stopped)
